DURALDUR S.p.A. has used for more than 10 years an Integrated Company System Quality-Environmental &Safety, now in conformity to the IATF 16949:2016 (Quality management fits the specific requirements of Automotive sector), ISO 14001:2015 (Environmental Management) and ISO 45001:2018 (Workers’ Health &Safety management).
Till nearly mid-80’s, Quality area organization was implemented by traditional criteria. A deep change in the organization has started since that period, by introducing new data collecting system with a progressive reduction of process and control, replaced by statistical control to prevent not conform parts during the working process.
In the early ‘90s the data collection was computerized by linking finishing machines to a net of terminals able to elaborate and analyze the sampling in a real time.
Meanwhile, a similar net linked all machines to managed a real time production. All this has allowed the Company a continuous monitoring of productivity and quality, taking action with utmost rapidity and efficacy in the process weak points. In 1996, afterwards a needed phase of preparation and training, a certification of Quality System as per the UNI EN ISO 9001:1994 standard was got. During the 3-year extension, the already existing design and development process was certified in 1999, by moving to UNI EN ISO 9001:1994 standard.
In 2002 the Organization evaluated and acknowledged the institution of an Integrated System as per Standard UNI 9000 and harmonized with the Environmental Management, as per the requirement of the UNI EN ISO 14001:2004, as a fundamental passage of its own development. In 2003 the Organization decided to add a further and important piece to their handling procedures of their company process and to further integrate the System by introducing the Health and Safety Management, as per OHSAS 18001:1999 standard. In 2010 the System Management was updated as per IATF 16949:2016 quality standard, to satisfy automotive specific requirement.
